I come to your accommodation and build your bike from its case.
I build your bike, check it over and set up your position. Before your flight home I take it apart and pack it back into the case.

First day of your training camp, and you’re on the floor with hex keys
- Building your bike on the apartment floor. No stand, no torque wrench.
- Carbon seatpost, hydraulics, Di2. One bolt too tight and it’s a problem for the whole trip.
- First ride: the brake rubs, the gears skip, and the nearest bike shop is over ten kilometres away.
- Last day: instead of riding, you’re stripping the bike down and fighting with tape and bubble wrap.
That time belongs on the bike. I’ll take care of the rest.

Fill in the form: dates, accommodation address, bike. I confirm on WhatsApp within 24 h, and a deposit secures the booking.

Take your usual transfer from the airport, bike case included. Need the case transported on its own? Add it to your booking.

I build
I come to your accommodation at an agreed time, usually on arrival day or the next morning. I build the bike, check it over and set saddle, cockpit and tyre pressure.
- 04Ready to ride
You ride
Your bike is ready to ride. The case stays with you or with me, your choice.
- 05Packed
You fly home
The day before your flight I come to your accommodation, take the bike apart and pack it into your case. You go to the airport with your luggage ready.
Before you fly
Six things to do before you check in your bike case
They make sure your bike is set up exactly like at home.
- Mark your saddle height on the seatpost with tape and note how many spacers sit under the stem.
- Take a photo of the bike from the side and of the cockpit from above.
- Pack pedals, cleats and a spare tube in the case, ideally in a labelled bag.
- Charge your Di2 or AXS before you fly.
- With tubeless, don’t let all the air out, or the tyre can come off the rim.
- Photograph the packed case before check-in. You’ll need the photos if you have to file a claim with the airline.

Bringing a handful or a dozen bikes to your camp? I come to your hotel and build them all on site.
- One list, one contact. We arrange everything with the organiser.
- Every bike gets a check and its position set.
- I can come back for repairs during the camp.
- Before departure I pack the whole group’s bikes.
- The bike cases travel with you on your transfer. If your transfer won’t take them, let me know and I’ll quote for a van to carry the bike cases.

I come to your accommodation with a stand and tools. Prices are for labour, parts are charged at shop prices. Call-out is included, with a €40 minimum per visit. Altea and Benidorm: +€10 per visit.

I build and service bikes at your accommodation in Calpe, Dénia, Jávea, Moraira, Oliva, Altea and Benidorm. Flying into Alicante or Valencia with a bike case? I’ll build your bike on site and pack it again before your flight.

Who builds your bike
I’m Szymon Polak, a bike mechanic and cycling coach from Poland. I speak English and Polish, so there’s no need to explain your bike in Spanish.

Questions
Do I need to be there for the build?
No. Someone just needs to let me in, or you can leave the case at reception. I’ll set the position using the tape on your seatpost and your photos. If you like, we can fine-tune it together before your first ride.
How do I get from the airport to my accommodation?
The easiest way is a transfer that takes bike cases. You can also take a bus or taxi with just a backpack, and I’ll bring your case separately as an extra.
What if something is wrong with my bike?
Before I start I photograph the case and the bike, so their condition is documented. If your bike arrived damaged, I tell you straight away, help you file a claim with the airline and fix it on site if I can. I’m responsible for any damage I cause. Details are in the terms.
Which bikes do you work on?
Road and gravel, with disc or rim brakes, hydraulic or cable. Mechanical groupsets, Shimano Di2 and SRAM AXS, tubeless too.
How can I pay?
A €30 deposit per bike by bank transfer. You pay the rest only after the job, by bank transfer or in cash. BLIK works too with a Polish bank account. I issue an invoice on request.
What if my flight changes or I cancel?
Flight cancelled or moved: we move the date at no cost. Cancel up to 7 days before arrival: you get the full deposit back. If I ever have to cancel a visit, you also get the full deposit back or we pick a new date, your choice.
How late can I book?
Even a few days before you fly, if I have a free slot. Message me on WhatsApp and I’ll check right away. I can only handle a limited number of bikes per day, so it’s worth writing as soon as you have your flights.
